As we embark on our 57th year of business this month, it’s good to take time to reflect on where we started and the legacies that are still driving our company. Earlier this summer, we were cleaning out some storage in the office, we came across an article that was published in 1999 in the Mishawaka Enterprise. It was a wonderful tribute to Cisco Minix, the founder of Crane Industrial Service CO. Inc (CISCO). It speaks to his desire for excellence, his ability to problem solve, and his grit. As the article says “without his expertise, those buildings that really in essence serve as a monument to his life and work, wouldn’t be standing today.” As we look back over the last 56 years may we carry the spirit of Cisco into the future.
